The President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, is expected to meet with Governors elected on the platform of the All Progressives Congress today, June 2.
According to WesternPost, the Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodinma, who was recently elected Chairman of the Progressives Governors Forum will lead his other colleagues to the meeting slated to hold at the State House in Abuja.
The meeting will be the first between the president and the APC governors since his inauguration on Monday. Nine of the APC governors are new while the other 11 are returning governors.
The publication also reported that National Assembly leadership positions, ministerial appointments and general direction of the government will form the agenda for the meeting.
It is believed that many of the governors who already have preferred persons from their states will use the opportunity to present their positions to the president who has promised to carry every stakeholder along in the formation of his government.
