The President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (Ret’d.), has assured the people of Imo State that the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, will deliver as the next president of Nigeria.
Earlier in the day, the president had commissioned a 15km MCC and Urratta road before making his way to the venue of the presidential campaign, accompanied by the state governor, Hope Uzodinma.
Naija News reported that during the rally held at the Dan Anyiam stadium in the state, the president gave the assurance that Tinubu would be a good president for Nigerians.
He said, “I am here for Asiwaju. We are grateful for our great party. Thank you very much. There is nothing more I can tell you than to thank you.
“We are here today, we are very grateful for your timeout. We are very grateful for your support and I can assure you that Asiwaju is going to deliver as the next President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Thank you very much indeed!”
