The Director General of the Youths in Technology Support Organisation, Josh Audu has disclosed that the Presidential Candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has a big plan to make Nigeria, the first smart country in Africa.

The DG disclosed this while speaking in Abuja on Saturday.

Audu stated that an office on smart nation programme as well as the website to lead the change in reviving Nigeria with the programme has been set up by the Candidate.

He further explained that this is just one of the many innovative programmes that Tinubu has for the betterment of the country.

According to him, “I am in charge of the national rebirthing agenda, which aims to champion the new Nigeria of our dreams.

“This is aimed at establishing goals, such as becoming Africa’s first world-class tech-driven state and a transformation plan to become a smart nation, utilising technology to transform how our families, and businesses.

“We must lead the way in envisioning, imagining and innovating in Nigeria if we are to fully appreciate the boundless opportunities that come with the smart nation and digital realities.’

He further stated that, Tinubu’s agenda to revive the country couple with his innovative solutions to the Country’s problems is work makes him standout of the many candidates, jostling for the office of the President in 2023.
