In what many social media users have interpreted to be a response to comments of the presidential aspirant of the All Progressives Congress, Bola Tinubu; Governor of Ogun State, Dapo Abiodun said he is not an emperor.

Tinubu had, on Thursday, while speaking to delegates of the APC in Ogun State, said Abiodun would not have become a governor without him (Tinubu).

“Look at this one seated behind me, Dapo, he wouldn’t have become governor without my support,” Tinubu had stated.

In a Twitter post made by the governor through his verified account, Abiodun stated, “I am not an emperor by any chance and this is not my family inheritance

“I am holding this position in trust for all the people of this state and I have vowed to be fair, just and equitable and this is the solemn agreement I made between the Almighty God and myself.”

However, Abiodun’s recent tweet has generated several reactions on Twitter.

MrDapo knows what #BAT said was total true and visible, but if he likes he can allow what people are saying gets into his head.

“No matter how big you’re, some people will always be way bigger!

Don’t ever be an ingrate!

Just stay humble and loyal.
