The screen goddess had recently attended an event in Lagos state, where Governor Sanwo-Olu was present, and they both snapped some pictures together.

however, the actress sported a wide smile as she exchanged pleasantries with the politician and shook hands with him, in the now-viral video.

The photo which was shared by a Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, has, however, earned the actress serious backlash.

It is widely believed that Kate Henshaw is a Labour Party supporter, who believes so much in the party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi, and also displayed her strong support for the party during the 2023 general elections.

The post, however, sparked mixed reactions among Twitter users. While some people described it as a mere courtesy, other APC supporters called Kate a hypocrite.
