No fewer than nine Bimodal Voter Accreditation Systems have been missing in Delta State.
The BVAS machines were said to have been stolen at the electoral officer’s office in Oporoza Ward 3, Gbaramatu kingdom, Warri South-West LGA of Delta state.
According to The Telegraph, the units with missing BVAS include Unit 001, Unit 004, Unit 007, Unit 10, Unit 11, Unit 13, etc.
In a short video, the officer featured denied knowledge of the whereabouts of those machines.
He stated that they met security agents on the ground as well as officers but wondered how the machines could disappear.
