President of the Nigerian Senate, Godswill Akpabio on Thursday, July 27, 2023, presented the twenty-eight ministerial nominee list sent to the Senate by President Bola Ahmed.

Premium Politics earlier reported that the ministerial list was delivered to the Senate on Thursday, by the Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila.

Meanwhile, a viral video has shown how Senator Akpabio who arrived in the Senate at about 12:10 pm, read out the list at exactly 01:19 pm, after a private section was observed by the lawmakers.

However, the list which consists of both technocrats and politicians, including former Governors, features Former Governors Malam Nasir El-Rufai, of Kaduna State, Nyesom Wike, Rivers State, Muhammed Badaru Abubakar Jigawa State, and David Umahi from Ebonyi State.

Among the technocrats on Tinubu’s ministerial list is a former deputy governor of operations of the Central Bank of Nigeria Adebayo Adelabu, and Wale Edun, a great economist and former commissioner in Lagos State.
