The Senate President, Godswill Akpabio on Wednesday, June 28, 2023, paid a visit to President Tinubu at his Lagos residence.

The visit came following Tinubu’s return from his first official and private foreign trip after his inauguration on May 29, 2023.

Tinubu had visited France to attend a summit on ‘A Global Financing Impact,’ hosted in Paris, by French President, Emmanuel Macron, after which he travelled on a private visit to London, United Kingdom last Saturday.

However, the president returned to Lagos, his country home on Tuesday, to celebrate this year’s Eid-el-Kabir celebration.

During his visit, Senator Akpabio however restated the commitment of the National Assembly leadership to collaborate with the President, to give good governance to the people.
