The presidential candidate of the Labour Party in the just concluded February 25 general elections, Peter Obi, has on live TV forgotten the name of the party’s governorship candidate in Lagos State, Gbadebo Rhodes-Viviour.

 

The former Anambra State governor was on Arise TV on Monday, comparing the governorship candidates in Lagos state, stating that Rhodes-Viviour of the LP is better, however, failed to recall his name after the comparison.

 

Rhodes-Viviour of the LP has become a major contenders in the Lagos state governorship race, under the umbrella of the Peter Obi-led movement for the party.

 

Other major contenders are Babajide Sanwo-Olu of the All Progressive Congress and Abdulazeez Adeniran of the Peoples Democratic Party.

 

The governorship election, which was originally scheduled to hold on March 11, by the Independent National Electoral Commission, was rescheduled for March 18, for more time to reconfigure the Bimodal Voters Accreditation System which were previously used for the presidential elections.
