At the Channels Television people’s town hall meeting on Sunday, Atiku was quizzed by a random Twitter user about his reason for deleting his tweet in which he condemned the murder.

He responded by saying he requested that the tweet be deleted since he did not authorize the content before posting, however, he condemned it in subsequent tweets.

Atiku said, “I asked the tweet to be deleted because I normally approve every tweet and since I did not approve the tweet, I asked them to delete it. If you read my subsequent statement on that murder, I condemned it.”
