A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Dele Momodu, has said the main opposition Peoples Democratic Party must tread with caution to treat the case of the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike.

Momodu who stated this while reacting to an X user on Wednesday, disclosed that Wike has very humongous and irresistible resources available to him.

According to the veteran journalist, the immediate former governor of Rivers State wants to be the king of two political parties because of the irresistible amount of money in his possession.

It would be recalled that the former Rivers governor and other governors, known as G5 governors in the PDP, worked against the party in the last general election, as a way of getting back to the party for not following the zoning agreement.

The governors worked for the victory of President Bola Tinubu, except for the then Benue State governor, Samuel Ortom, who worked for the Labour Party, in the state.

However, Wike who ensured that his state was delivered to Tinubu’s victory, was compensated with appointment, as the FCT Minister.

An online X user on Wednesday, however,  accused PDP of keeping silent on the Wike’s issue, noting that the party should have taken a bold step against him.

The X user TENIBEGILOJU202 posted: “PDP is the most useless party in the world! rather than take a bold step on Wike, they sent PDP governors to beg him!

“I am beginning to think that there is a big secret that Wike has against PDP leaders that made him untouchable. @BwalaDaniel @DeleMomodu you don’t belong in that party.”

Reacting to the post, Momodu posted on X: “When a tsetse fly perches piercingly on your testicle, you require all the skills and wisdom to get rid of it.

“The extraordinary resources available to NYESOM WIKE, courtesy of PDP, ironically, are so humongous, and irresistible to most Nigerian politicians, the reason he wants to be king in two political parties, simultaneously!!”
