Nigerian politician and billionaire businessman, Ned Nwoko, has stated that the presidential candidate of the Labor Party, Peter Obi, cannot win the 2023 presidential election with his present party.

In an interview with BBC, Nwoko said although Obi is a good man and an economic strategist who has the capacity to play a significant role in the government, he is far better off as a minister of economy.

“Peter Obi is a good man and has impressed me. When he came to London he came alone. He’s a capitalist, a big-time player in the business world, and conservative in how he handles things,” he said

Nwoko, who is married to popular Nigerian actress, Regina Daniels, explained that the Labour Party does not have the much-needed structure to help Obi actualise his presidential ambition.

He said, “Labour Party does not have the structure to win but they have a support base, he cannot become president because he does not have a structure.”
