Wike mocks Atiku, PDP presidential election protest

Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike

The Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike, has berated the Peoples Democratic Party for protesting at the Independent National Electoral Commission’s office on Monday.

The governor described the protestants as Labour Union activists chanting “all we are saying…”

Recall that, Premium Politics had reported on Monday that the presidential candidate of PDP, Atiku Abubakar, some of the party leaders and concerned citizens of this country held a peaceful protest at INEC headquarters in Abuja. However, in a recent video which surfaced online, Governor Wike was seen making a mockery of the protest.

He said, “What is in us is greater than what is in them.

“As they’re protesting I just sat down and drank one 40 years whiskey, and then I called some of my friends and said ‘sit down, o boy sit down’.

“And then I put television, see as they’re marching ‘all we are saying’. They have become Labour Union, they have become Students Union, ‘all we are saying’, chai! Chai! We are saying what? You have taken over the role of Students Union, Aluta Continua! That’s what the party has become Aluta Continua!”
