Yobe commissioner vows speedy development in all LGAs

Yobe State commissioner, Ministry for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Alhaji Ibrahim Adamu Jajere has promised to work with critical stakeholders to enhance the speedy development across the 17 LGAs through policies and programmes of the present administration.

He disclosed this while taking over the mantle of leadership of the ministry at his office in Damaturu, according to Leadership.

 

Jajere implored all members of staff to commit to their responsibilities and ensure the attainment of the desired goals of the governor for the development of the state.

 

He also commended the Governor of the state, Mai Mala Buni, for the opportunity to serve as commissioner.

 

Speaking during the handing over of the affairs of the ministry to the new commissioner, the permanent secretary, Ministry for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, who is now the commissioner, Ministry of Agriculture, Alhaji Ali Mustapha, expressed the optimism that the cordial working relationship which existed between him and the staff of the ministry would be sustained.

 

He enjoined staff to work closely with others to support the new commissioner in delivering his assignment and called on the people of the state to continue giving their support and maximum cooperation to the near commissioner for the interest of the state.
